The benefits of Pre-wedding (Engagement) shoots.

I’ve had several enquiries of late about the pre wedding or engagement shoots that I provide as an option. These really are a fabulous way for us to get to know one another and from the feedback I get from some of my grooms and brides it’s a big bonus for them as well as me.

For this shoot I usually meet the couple at a venue of their choosing, this can be a favourite place, where they proposed for example, or even where they’re getting married. It’s all very informal and unrushed, and it gives you a chance to see how  I work with you. It’s often when the bride and groom to be first see their engagement photographs ,that they really become confident about me capturing their big day. After all up until this point all that you will have seen is my work with other couples, this is where you suddenly realise that it’s not that difficult to look fabulous too! a real confidence booster, especially for the camera shy fellas out there, and another worry out of the way.

Once you see your private web gallery, you’re able to choose a picture for your wedding signing board. This has gone down a treat with the guests at recent weddings, its a 12 by 8 inch quality print of your shot, mounted for framing with a mount large enough for all of your guests to sign. After the wedding you’ll recieve this professionally framed.

The pre wedding shoot is included in my top two packages, and is available as an option with the smaller package that I offer. So if anybody out there wishes to try a shoot of this type it’s available for only £80 at present (within a 20 mile radius of Burton on Trent.) Should you then decide to book one of my top two packages this fee will be subtracted from your package price.  Simples!!!

Great shot – and love the idea of pre-wedding shoots; as you say you get to know each other, and get the shy bide past the nervousness.

cheers Adrian

Great post! I absolutely love when brides book engagement sessions due to the time we get to spend with the couple prior to their wedding day. It allows us to get to know them on a more personal level, learn how comfortable they are in front of the camera and leave them in awe once they see the images. Great article for brides!
